Deep Cove Coffee House




A gathering place for lovers of song, acoustic music, and stories.



  • Date: third Friday of the month, except July, August, and (Easter, when it will be held April?)
  • Admission: $10 / Students $5.  Musicians Free
  • Schedule your warm-up or feature act.
  • Newcomers are welcome to schedule one of the 4 warm-up spots.

Following the refreshment break at 8.30 pm. with coffee, tea, and goodies, enjoy talented featured performers.
Many acts encourage lots of participation, sing along, and wild applause at the end.

January 20: Along for the Ride
This is the last chance to take a ride with coffee house favourites Along for theRide -- Gary and Linda Manzer are leaving Deep Cove. Swing tunes and folk-influenced originals, with the Manzers, Ken Hatch, coffee house organizer KathyFrancis and Helen Hansen.

February 17: Plough
Acoustic/roots/bluegrass quartet featuring Karla Mundy, Linda Bull, PatrickMetzger and James Scholl. Exceptionally beautiful singing and harmonies.

March 16: Just Duets:
The sweet harmonies of Dave Lidstone and Andrea Smith with lovely folk andoriginal songs. Check out their MySpace page.

April 20: Rueben Gurr and Friends
Rueben Gurr has an encyclopedic knowledge of music, boundless energy and aquirky sense of humour. We donʼt know what will happen, but we know youʼll likeit.

May 11 (early because of the Victoria Day weekend): To be announced.

June 15: ErRatica
This popular Celtic-influenced band features Don Davidson, Cameron Stewart,Jane Slemon and Bernard singing and playing flute, mandolin, banjo and guitar.


For all performances, doors open at 7 p.m., warm-up acts go on at 7:30, andafter a break for coffee and treats, the feature takes the stage at 9. $10admission includes refreshments.For more information check outdeepcovecoffeehouse.blogspot.com
